Meet the Doctor – Roiter Family Dental

Dr. Robert M. Roiter, DDS

Dr. Robert Roiter graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1990 after attending the University of Illinois in Champaign for undergraduate school. Working in several practices throughout the Chicago area allowed him to hone his skills until he settled in Glenview in 1996, walking distance from the house he was raised in and his old high school, Glenbrook South. During this time, Dr. Roiter learned not just about dentistry but also about people, always remembering there is a person attached to each mouth and the importance of taking time to learn about that person and how he could best help them. Having seen and practiced dentistry in many settings allowed Dr. Roiter to better define how he wanted to practice and how he could best serve his patients and their families. Dr. Roiter is a strong believer in continuing education attending many classes with his staff each year so that he and his staff can continue to offer the best and safest care available.

Dr. Roiter lives in Deerfield with his wife, Jackie, and Ziggy, a dog that thinks he runs the house (okay, he does) in the same house where they raised their two children to what they claim is adulthood. Dr. Roiter participates in the Dental Lifeline Network providing care to less abled and economically challenged people in the area. He is an active member of Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Synagogue, having served on and headed several committees and served on both the board and executive committee where his volunteer work was recognized in 2009 when he was honored with the Maury Award for the volunteer of the year.
